Set in 19th century Boston, this dark ride concept based on Edgar Allen Poe’s short story, The Tell-Tale Heart, transports audiences into the mind’s eye of the narrator as he describes his “perfect crime.” As guests descend deeper and deeper into the narrator’s madness, they witness their surroundings morph into exaggerated imaginings. The queue line leads guests through the streets of Old Boston, into the decrepit house where the narrator lives with the Old Man and his grotesque collections. The ride is a series of rooms in the Old Man’s house seen from the Narrator’s point of view and changes as his paranoia grows.
